Introducing Human GPCR, membrane proteins for cell-free expression and ion exchange (IEC) and hydrophobic interaction (HIC).
New Off The Shelf Human GPCR
We proudly introduce the third member of our active, stable GPCR family: GLP1R, or glucagone-like peptide receptor 1. It has been purified on a ligand-based affinity column, solubilized in detergent and SPR-tested for activity. If GLP1R is your target – just get it off the shelf or contact us for larger quantities. If you need a perfect positive control for a different target – here you go!
Cell-Free Expression For Membrane Proteins
If you are working with membrane proteins, cell-free expression is maybe not something you have ever considered. Now, we combine nanodiscs and bacterial lysates in a fast method for membrane protein expression, nanodisc insertion, and lipid screening – all in one step.
HIC and IEC: Conventional But Never Out Of Fashion
Conventional chromatography methods, such as ion exchange (IEC) and hydrophobic interaction (HIC) are still widely used to purify untagged proteins or as a polishing step after affinity purification. As always, quality and price matter – which is why we developed a collection of resins that provide high protein yield & purity at an economic price.
