In this kit, antibodies are used to target and capture histone H3 proteins modified at specific sites. Captured proteins will be detected with a detection antibody, followed by a color development reagent. In an assay with this kit, the ratio of modified histone is proportional to the intensity of absorbance measured by a microplate reader at a wavelength of 450 nm. Input materials can be histone extracts (20-500 ng per well) or purified histone H3 proteins (1-25 ng per well).
